We welcome all children and young people from the first day of life until they reach the age of majority. Our aim as Pediatric elective center is to create a trustworthy point of contact for you and your children and to be able to accompany you in this stage of life.
We will be happy to advise you on questions, problems and concerns relating to the health of your loved ones. We look forward to welcoming you in person.

With a lot of experience, patience, and an open ear, we dedicate ourselves with all our heart to the little ones and their families every day. As pediatricians in the center of Vienna, it is particularly important to us to create an atmosphere where children feel comfortable and parents feel well-cared for.
Our practice is open 7 days a week for you, so that families can find support outside of traditional office hours. Additionally, we bring together multiple specialists in one location to provide comprehensive and coordinated care for your child.
Together, we ensure that medical care is compassionate, modern, and child-friendly – so that your child receives the best possible support.

How can I make an appointment?
You can easily book an appointment for your child online or alternatively by calling
+43 1 394 00 56 call.
We also ask for your understanding that a cancellation fee of €100 will be charged for appointments canceled less than 24 hours before the agreed date.
What are the opening hours at Glückskind?
The pediatric center is at 7 days a week, 365 days a year there for you and your children.
- Monday, Wednesday & Thursday: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
- Tuesday and Friday: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Weekends & public holidays: 9:00 - 13:00
Are there short-term appointments for urgent matters or emergencies?
We also ask you to make an appointment for urgent matters so that we can organize the process properly. In addition, at weekends and on public holidays our Weekend Service available from 09:00 to 13:00.
What do I need to bring to the first appointment?
Please bring - if available - the Mother-child pass and existing Preliminary findings With. That way we have right away at the first appointment a good overview and can provide your child with the best possible care from the very beginning.
How is billing carried out in an elective doctor's practice?

How does a check-up for babies work?
During the check-up, we check your baby's growth, weight, development, motor skills and general health. We also discuss topics such as nutrition, sleep and vaccinations and take plenty of time to answer all your questions.
How often should I take my baby for a check-up?

Are regular first aid courses offered for parents?
Are antenatal classes offered regularly?
In our practice we regularly offer Birth preparation courses for couples. The courses are led by experienced midwives and teach everything you need to know about pregnancy, birth, breastfeeding and the early days with your baby.
What payment methods are available at the surgery?
You are welcome to pay in cash or by ATM. Unfortunately, payment by bank transfer is not possible.
