Pediatrics, especially pediatric rheumatology, has always fascinated me. I love working with children, accompanying their development and solving medical puzzles in the process – a challenge that is often at the heart of rheumatology.

After training as a general practitioner at Mistelbach Regional Hospital, I completed my specialist training at Vienna General Hospital. I have been working at St. Anna Children’s Hospital since 2022, where I look after young patients in the rheumatology outpatient clinic, the immunology outpatient clinic and the cardiac outpatient clinic with great dedication. In order to deepen my specialization in pediatric rheumatology, I have also been working once a week in the rheumatology outpatient clinic at Vienna General Hospital since September 2024.

In addition to my clinical work, I have gained valuable practical experience in two pediatrician’s offices, which has enriched my work with families and children. As a father of two wonderful daughters aged 4 and 7, I know how important it is to combine medical care with understanding and care. This enables me to empathize particularly well with the worries and fears of parents and I am always on hand with help and advice.

It is a matter close to my heart to promote the health and well-being of your child with competence and empathy.
