Growing up as the daughter and granddaughter of pediatricians, I saw early on how fulfilling this profession can be. During my medical studies, I worked in my mother’s practice and wrote a dissertation on Langerhans cell histiocytosis at the Research Institute of St. Anna Children’s Hospital. Study visits took me to Dar es Salaam, Tanzania and Calcutta, India, where I was able to gain further valuable experience.

After completing my residency at Divine Savior Hospital and Monklands Hospital in Airdrie, Scotland, I completed my specialist training at St. Anna Children’s Hospital. As a senior consultant, I was in charge of an internal ward and most recently the infant ward.

I have been working as an elective doctor since mid-2022, which allows me to take enough time for the holistic medical care of my patients, including the whole family. Competent assessment and treatment as well as a respectful and empathetic approach are equally important to me. As a mother of three children, I can also provide you with the best possible support based on my personal experience.
