Isolde McPherson

“You can build something beautiful from the stones that are put in your way.” – Erich Kästner
I have been treating children and adolescents aged 0-18 since 2006. I worked at St. Anna Children’s Hospital until 2012, then in private practice as a freelancer in collaboration with pediatricians, pediatric orthopedists and pediatric neurologists. As a physiotherapist, it is very important to me to support and accompany children and adolescents in their development and to offer their parents support and a sympathetic ear in therapeutic matters.
I contribute my many years of experience in the pediatric and neurological field and offer competent advice and a comprehensive range of therapies.
I was born in Vienna and live here with my family and our son.
I made my career choice very early on and I am happy and grateful every day to be able to do this valuable work.
I speak German and English. In my free time I love to enjoy the outdoors, spend time with my family and friends and travel.

Pediatric physiotherapy procedure
Pediatric physiotherapy procedure
- You need a medical prescription from your pediatrician.
- Please ask your health insurance company to approve your prescription.
- Make an appointment for physiotherapy. Please note that I will keep agreed appointments free for you. I therefore ask you to cancel your appointment 24 hours in advance if you are ill or unable to attend. Otherwise I will have to charge you for the physiotherapy session, as I can no longer allocate appointments canceled at short notice or unexcused appointments to children on the waiting list.
- A physiotherapy treatment comprises 10 units x 60 minutes. This includes 50 minutes of direct therapy on the child and 10 minutes of indirect therapy without the child (preparation / follow-up time, documentation).
- Payment: In the first session you will receive an information letter with all the important information for review. With your signature, you confirm that you wish to make use of the treatment as well as the treatment costs listed. You pay for each therapy unit and receive a fee note, which you can submit together with the approved prescription. You will be partially reimbursed by your health insurance company. The amount varies depending on your health insurance company. If you have private supplementary insurance, this will usually cover the remaining amount.
