Dr. Lorenz Wassermann

I completed my training as a specialist in ophthalmology and optometry at Vienna General Hospital (AKH) between 2019 and 2024. I have been part of the team at the special outpatient clinic for strabismus and pediatric ophthalmology since 2022 and have since been able to gain valuable experience in caring for our youngest patients - especially in the early detection and treatment of vision defects and eye changes that can occur in early childhood.

I have been a medical specialist since January 2025. in the special outpatient clinic for strabismus, pediatric ophthalmology and pediatric ophthalmic surgery with an outpatient clinic for premature babies. Working with children and their families gives me great pleasure - it is a real privilege for me to be able to accompany young patients in this crucial development phase with professional competence and human closeness.

I am personally committed to working with parents to create the best possible conditions for the healthy visual development of their children.
