My interest in radiology was awakened in my own childhood and youth. As an active competitive athlete in middle-distance running, I repeatedly came into contact with imaging examinations for the diagnosis of sports injuries. I experienced early on how helpful radiology can be in clarifying complaints quickly and specifically.

At the same time, I know from my own experience that visits to the doctor are not always pleasant, especially for children and young people and their relatives. That is why it is particularly important to me to carry out examinations in a calm and pleasant atmosphere and to respond sensitively to individual complaints and concerns.

After completing my medical studies in Salzburg, I trained as a radiologist at Vienna General Hospital. During this time, I was also able to complete several research stays in the USA and gain international experience in medical imaging. Working at a large university center for many years taught me how to deal confidently with more complex issues and different clinical situations. Today, this experience helps me to carry out examinations carefully and to classify findings clearly and comprehensibly.

As a specialist in radiology, I am very pleased to now be able to practice my focus in pediatric radiology in private practice. It is important to me to have enough time for a thorough examination and a clear discussion of the findings.
