Dr. Teresa Egger-Matiqi

As a pediatrician, I have a clear focus on preventive medicine in order to offer our children the best conditions for a healthy life from the very beginning - holistically and individually. The basis for this is my wide-ranging training in general pediatrics, which I completed at St. Anna Children's Hospital, where I currently also work as a senior physician. I can also look back on several years of experience in outpatient pediatric care.

I am currently expanding my knowledge with further training in pediatric haemato-oncology. This specialization enables me to respond specifically to the special needs of my young patients, even with challenging diagnoses and courses of treatment.

As a mother, I know from my own experience how important it is to work closely and trustingly with parents - especially in the first years of a child's life. With a great deal of empathy, I am on hand to advise you and support you in promoting your child's health in the best possible way.
